Direct Credit Group of Companies organized an exciting cricket match on April 1, 2026, bringing employees together in a vibrant display of teamwork, energy, and sportsmanship. Following the successful closure of the financial year, the event was hosted at C.K. Play Station Ground, Greater Noida, with the objective of refreshing employees’ minds, strengthening team bonding, and celebrating collective achievements.

The ground was filled with enthusiasm as employees actively participated and cheered for their teams. The match witnessed thrilling moments, powerful batting performances, and impressive bowling spells, with players hitting spectacular fours and sixes that kept the excitement high throughout the event. The positive energy on the field reflected the strong team spirit that defines Direct Credit’s work culture.
Senior leadership including CEO Yogendra Kumar, COO Nivedita Mishra, EVP Ashwini Sharma, Director Sandeep Chauhan, Director – Sales Chandan Madan, HR Head Sanjini Shukla, along with employees from various departments, were present to encourage the players and celebrate the spirit of unity beyond the workplace.
The tournament was thoughtfully divided into men’s and women’s categories to ensure inclusive participation. Four teams competed in the men’s category, showcasing strong coordination and competitive spirit, while the women’s category featured an engaging match between two enthusiastic teams, highlighting confidence, sportsmanship, and team collaboration.
CEO Yogendra Kumar highlighted the importance of maintaining a healthy balance between mental and physical well-being for improved workplace performance. He emphasized that sports activities help reduce stress, enhance focus, and build stronger connections among team members. Demonstrating his encouragement for such initiatives, he personally stepped onto the field to inaugurate the match and motivate participants.

COO Nivedita Mishra appreciated the initiative and shared that such engagement-driven activities will continue to be an integral part of the organization’s culture. She mentioned that events like these offer employees, especially women, a refreshing break from routine responsibilities and provide opportunities to build confidence, connect with colleagues, and enjoy a positive work environment.
