Assistant Manager – Credit (Working Capital)

Job Description

  • Assess and analyze working capital finance proposals for SME/MSME clients.
  • Conduct detailed financial analysis including balance sheet, profit & loss, cash flow, and ratios.
  • Perform risk assessment and mitigation analysis across industries and client profiles.
  • Prepare and present credit appraisal memos (CAM) for sanctioning authorities.
  • Conduct background checks and site visits as part of due diligence.
  • Coordinate with legal, technical, and valuation teams for report assessments.
  • Ensure KYC, AML, and compliance checks are completed.
  • Ensure adherence to credit policies and approval matrix.
  • Assist in periodic review and update of credit policies related to working capital.
  • Review and verify legal and security documents before disbursement.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong analytical and financial skills
  • Good understanding of working capital products (CC/OD, Bill Discounting, etc.)
  • Knowledge of credit underwriting standards and regulatory guidelines
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, able to work in TAT.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in Finance/Commerce/MBA (Finance).
  • 2–5 years of experience in credit underwriting, preferably in SME/MSME segment
  • Prefer candidate, NBFC or cooperate DSA’s experience is consider only.
  • Candidate should have stable profile.
